Early life 

Austin Richard Post was conceived on July 4, 1995, in Syracuse, New York. Post expressed he has Native American family line on The Breakfast Club in 2016. He was raised by his dad, Rich Post, and his stepmother, Jodie. His dad had been a plate racer in his childhood and acquainted Post with a wide range of classes of music including hip-jump, nation, and rock.When Post was nine years old, he and his family moved to Grapevine, Texas, after his dad turned into the administrator of concessions for the Dallas Cowboys.[ Post started to play the guitar and tried out for the band Crown the Empire in 2010, yet was rejected after his guitar strings broke during the tryout.
