Caroline Flack, the previous host of the British adaptation of Love Island, has kicked the bucket at 40 years old. 

Flack, who has been a moderator on UK TV since 2002, was discovered dead at her home in London on Saturday. An attorney for the Flack family disclosed to Sky News that she passed on by suicide. 

In an announcement, the family stated: "We can affirm that our Caroline spent away today on the fifteenth February. We would ask that the press both regard the security of the family at this troublesome time." 

Flack was expected to go on preliminary on March 4 for supposedly ambushing her sweetheart, tennis player Lewis Burton, during an episode at her London home on December 12. She argued not liable to the charge.
